The Pending arrival status is similar to a pre-booking and it is understandable that it is not confirmed as a reserve. But the problem is that if a reservation (Pending arrival) for 1 room is done, Solidres save that pre-booking in the first room available, such as D001, but then if another reservation is made, Solidres resave the pre-booking in the same room, ie, D001. This creates a problem for all cases with offline payment, because it may take time to be confirmed, and during that course maybe generated overbooking. Offline payment options are very useful and Pending arrival status too, but it should generate some kind of temporary blockade of the room, or at least recognize that the room D001 has a pre-booking, so that the next booking or pre-booking is saved in the successive room.
One option could be that the pre-booking (Pending arrival) temporarily blocks a room, for example for one day (should be able to be defined from the Admin), and after which time the room is released. Or more simply, the room is not blocked, but if comes a new book, it is saved on the successive room, regardless of their status.
Sorry my English!! I hope you can understand
Regards!

Hi,
Nice week to you.
Yes it is quite interesting when we consider how to implement it in a more elegant way.
If we modify the system to add "release period", what would happen if room type A has 3 rooms, and there are 4 unconfirmed bookings? All 4 bookings are still in "release period" therefore they are not yet released?
