Solidres 4.3.0<\/strong> is out. It is a polish and hardening release: cleaner URLs, better headings and accessibility, a smoother booking flow and two security fixes. The Hub, Experience and Feedback add-ons also now ship as packages. Every fix is in Solidres itself, so every site benefits, whichever template it runs.<\/p>\n\n

One address per property<\/h4>\n\n

A property could be reached at several URLs depending on where it was linked from (the search page, a destination page or a bare \/component\/solidres<\/em> link), and search engines had to guess which one was real. In 4.3.0 every property and apartment has one URL, with a canonical link that points at it. Old links keep working.<\/p>\n\n

Apartment pages now have their own title, description and social sharing tags instead of borrowing the menu item’s. Property pages no longer show the search page’s filter and search modules. On Hub sites, apartment search results now open the right property.<\/p>\n\n

Headings, descriptions and accessibility<\/h4>\n\n
    \n\t
  • Pages that had no heading of their own, such as search results, tracking, the tour list and the guest area, now follow Joomla’s Show Page Heading<\/em> option like Joomla’s own views do. Turn it on for those menu items to give each page its H1.<\/li>\n\t
  • Solidres pages pick up the meta description and robots settings from their menu item. Room type pages fall back to the first sentence of their description.<\/li>\n\t
  • Property pages follow a logical H1 › H2 › H3 outline. Date and guest captions have better contrast, and form controls and social links have accessible names.<\/li>\n\t
  • In the modules, slider images carry alt text, search fields are properly labelled, and each Read more<\/em> link names what it opens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    A smoother booking flow<\/h4>\n\n
      \n\t
    • Date picker:<\/strong> the apartment page now uses the modern range picker. It was the last booking page still on the old jQuery UI picker. The booking and availability calendars show Solidres colours again, and the mobile date sheet is translated in every language.<\/li>\n\t
    • Booking summary:<\/strong> stays hidden until the guest has picked dates, and check-in and check-out no longer run together.<\/li>\n\t
    • Currency:<\/strong> the currency switcher shows the currency the prices are actually in.<\/li>\n\t
    • Rate plans:<\/strong> the admin and Hub booking forms require a rate plan for every selected room, so a room can no longer be booked at zero price.<\/li>\n\t
    • Payments:<\/strong> a guest returning from a cancelled payment sees your message with placeholders such as [CUSTOMER_FIRSTNAME] and [CODE] filled in. Experience bookings show the success message you set for the payment method.<\/li>\n\t
    • Wording:<\/strong> “Check-in”, “Check-out” and “Search” now read the same in every module and page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Security<\/h4>\n\n

      4.3.0 fixes two issues in the property map view, and we recommend updating:<\/p>\n\n

        \n\t
      • The map view could show the name and contact details of an unpublished or access-restricted property. It now follows the same access rules as the property page.<\/li>\n\t
      • Map popups were built in a way that let property details containing markup break the map or inject markup into the page. This matters most on Hub sites, where partners edit their own property details. Popups are now built safely, and they show the full address and contact details again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        Packaging<\/h4>\n\n

        The Coupons and Room Types modules now ship inside the Solidres core package and update with it, next to Check Availability, Currency and Summary. There is nothing extra to download.<\/p>\n\n

        The Hub, Experience and Feedback add-ons now each install as one Joomla package that updates and uninstalls as a unit, instead of a plugin plus a handful of separate downloads. Hub 2.2.0 bundles its task plugin, subscription gateways and eight site modules; Experience 2.1.0 its invoice plugin, four payment gateways and eight site modules; Feedback 2.1.0 its module. Install a package over your current setup and it takes over what is already there, with nothing to migrate.<\/p>\n\n

        Also in this release<\/h4>\n\n
          \n\t
        • Dark mode now covers the Experience, Feedback, Hub subscription, Dashboard and Front Desk screens, and reservation status colours stay readable.<\/li>\n\t
        • Country and state are drop-down lists on Joomla’s registration, profile and user edit forms.<\/li>\n\t
        • The “Solidres is not defined” script error on those forms and on some Hub and Experience pages is gone.<\/li>\n\t
        • The Feedback and Splide module settings are translated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          Before you update<\/h4>\n\n
            \n\t
          • Template overrides:<\/strong> the map view and apartment map layouts have changed. The System page flags any overrides that need updating.<\/li>\n\t
          • Custom CSS:<\/strong> property page headings moved from H4\/H5 to H2\/H3. Check any styles that target the old levels.<\/li>\n\t
          • Labels:<\/strong> date labels such as “Arrival Date” now read “Check-in”. Use a language override if you want to keep the old wording.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            There are no database changes in this release.<\/p>\n\n

            Update today<\/h4>\n\n
