MyAllocator support ends on 1 October 2026
The Solidres integration with MyAllocator.com reaches end of life on 1 October 2026. From that date MyAllocator can no longer be used as a provider in the Solidres Channel Manager plugin, and synchronisation stops. If your property syncs through MyAllocator today, you have about five weeks to move to the Solidres Channel Manager or to Beds24.
IMPORTANT This is a hard date, and the failure it causes is silent. Nothing in your Joomla administrator will look broken on 2 October — your room type mappings will still be there and your properties will still look connected. Only the sync behind them stops.
What stops working on 1 October
Nothing is exchanged with your channels any more:
- Rates and availability stop going out. Your channels keep whatever numbers they last received, and those numbers stop being true the moment your next direct booking comes in.
- Bookings stop coming in. Reservations made on Booking.com, Expedia and the rest no longer reach Solidres, so they will not appear in your Front Desk and will not block the rooms they were sold for.
- Overbooking becomes a matter of time, not bad luck — that is the real risk here, and it is why this needs doing before the deadline rather than after it.
Does this affect me?
Only if the Channel Manager plugin is set to MyAllocator. To check, open your Joomla administrator, go to System → Plugins, search for Solidres – Channel Manager, and look at the Provider option:
- MyAllocator — this notice is for you. Read on.
- Solidres Channel Manager or Beds24 — nothing changes for you.
- The plugin is disabled, or you do not have it — nothing changes for you. Solidres itself, your website and your direct bookings are entirely unaffected either way.
From the next release the plugin also tells you directly: with MyAllocator selected, every Solidres screen in the administrator carries a dated warning, and the plugin options and Channel Manager tabs spell the deadline out. Once 1 October passes, that warning changes to say the sync has stopped, so nobody is left guessing why the bookings dried up.

IMPORTANT Switching means reconnecting from scratch. There is no automatic migration, and we would rather say so now than let you discover it on 30 September. Your channel mappings do not transfer: you will connect the new provider, map each room type and rate plan again, and re-authorise each channel on its own extranet. For a single small property that is an afternoon. For a portfolio, plan a few days — and do it while MyAllocator is still running, so you always have something live to fall back on.

Questions you are likely to have
Do I lose my existing reservations?No. Every reservation already in Solidres stays exactly where it is, including everything imported from MyAllocator over the years. Nothing is deleted and no data is removed from your database.
Will my website stop taking bookings?No. This is only about the channel sync. Your own site keeps selling normally throughout, whatever you decide to do.
Can I keep using MyAllocator.com on its own?Your account with them is between you and them, and this notice does not change it. What ends is the link between MyAllocator and Solidres — so from 1 October the two will no longer share rates, availability or bookings, and you would be keeping your calendars in step by hand.
Why now?Honestly: it comes down to where we can do the best work for you. MyAllocator sits as a middle layer between Solidres and your channels — whatever it does not expose, we cannot offer, however often you ask for it. Our own Channel Manager takes that layer out and talks to the channels directly, which is why the Inventory grid, channel restrictions and per-rate-plan sync exist there and nowhere else, and why the next thing you ask for is ours to build rather than ours to request. It also shortens the line when something goes wrong: today a sync problem can mean a support thread running between you, us and a third party before anyone can act, whereas with our own Channel Manager it is you and us — we can look at the sync ourselves and get back to you without waiting on anyone else. Keeping both paths going indefinitely means doing neither of them properly. Rather than let the older one decay quietly and fail at the worst possible moment, we are giving it a date and telling you well ahead of it.
