Speedy Translate 2.0.0 is here, and it’s a big one. We’ve rebuilt the extension from the ground up on Joomla 6’s modern architecture, so building a multilingual Joomla site is faster, cleaner, and ready for what comes next.

We are happy to announce two new Speedy Translate versions: 1.10.0 (for Joomla 4) and 1.9.1 (for Joomla 3). These new versions contain new features and several bug fixes/enhancements, detailed change log can be found below:

Speedy Translate v1.10.0

• Add support for Joomla 4
• DeepL integration is added in addition to Google Cloud Translation and Yandex Translate
• Support Joomla custom field type “Repeatable/Subform”
• Add IMG tag support for automatic translation service

Speedy Translate v1.9.1

Speedy Translate 1.9.0 (Beta) is now available, this release marks a very important milestone for this product with the following big features and improvements, please read more info below, but please bear in mind that this is just a first BETA release, it is not yet ready, bugs are expected, you should only use it for previewing/testing purposes.

Speedy Translate is now able to provide automatic translation suggestion for our Inline Translation feature using Translate API from Yandex Technologies, this API is free therefore you can try out right now, don’t forget to upgrade your Speedy Translate to the latest version. If you are having an active Speedy Translate subscription, then you can grab the new version from our Download page. Otherwise, let subscribe/renew Speedy Translate subscription and leave all the Joomla translation work headache behind, right now!

Since v1.6.0, Speedy Translate component is now able to translate Joomla Custom Field feature (both key + value) with an intuitive user interface.
