english text in german template

Hello,

Unfortunately, I can’t find the place in the .ini files where I can change the subject and the welcome text of the confirmation email from solidres for a new booking. This is still in English, the rest is correctly in German.
Here is the text block:

subject: Your reservation is pending approval

Thank you for your reservation at VIP Kabine. We are currently reviewing your reservation, when it is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

Apart from that, I don’t find it very convenient from solidres that you have to go into the .ini files to change email templates. Isn’t there another way?

Hello Anke,
goin your backend to solidres and there to System and then scroll down close to the bottom, there you find the links and some small explanation about the EMail templates /how to change them. Only a part of it comes from the ini files but you will see it there.
I agree that editing the EMails can be much more comfortable but so far ther eis maybe not enough interest by customers to create an real editor for it. Maybe in 2025

There are several ways to find the translation you want to edit:

1. Search your Joomla folder using an advanced text editor.
2. Use the Joomla language override feature
3. Use component like Speedy Translate (paid extension)

I found the string in /components/com_solidres/language/de-DE/de-DE.com_solidres.ini -> it's still in english even it is in the german .ini

Now I can make the requested changes to the text and translate it in German.

I suppose you are referring to the "System > Important Path" section, Right ?
- Important Paths > Email templates
- Important Paths > Invoice & PDF templates

It is a very good source for us, but it is missing of some important and simple things:

A - the List should be logically (chronological) ordered
B - the List should include ALL the paths for Property, for Experience and also for Restaurant when available in the workflow (doesn't matter if Experience/Restaurant are installed or not)
C - instead to have always the same "To override, copy it to" repeated more times, would be very good to have one description for each behaviour/step, for example: "Reservation confirm Email" and then the path for Property, Experience, Restaurant

Right now, as far as I know, the list is incomplete, Am I right ?

If you are thinking to add a Template Editing feature in the future, my opinion is to don't invest that developing time foe a Solidres internal solution. Would be really better for us and simple for you to just offer an AcyMailing plugin integration, in this way you will solve more things at the same time...
I remain available, if you want I can address you through AcyMailing sources...

the changes in the .ini file are ok for me - now everything works really good.
