Paypal Pro was created by wildweststudios
Hello, I have successfully implemented the PayPal plugin and it works great.
However, my client has signed up for PayPal Pro and would like to keep the transaction on their site instead of redirecting.
Is there a way for me to do this using the existing PayPal plugin? Thanks!

Hi,
I am moving this topic to our Feature Request forum for better tracking.
Technically, you can implement Paypal Pro using the existing Paypal plugin.

Hi,
thanks for the response. That is good to know that it is possible!
Right now it still redirects over to Paypal. Can you tell me how to configure this so it remains on the site? thanks!

Hi,
Nice week to you.
As replied in previous post, it is not about simple configuration, it is about developing a brand new payment plugin bases on the current Paypal plugin. That's why we moved this into our Feature Request forum.

Hi vietvh,
alright, I think you mis-typed in your last post (#6923). That post actually says "you can implement Paypal Pro using the existing Paypal plugin."
So you meant to type you can't. Correct?

Hi,
Sorry for not being clear enough. I meant you can take the existing Paypal plugin, then modify it so that it can work with Paypal Pro API. All payment plugins share the same underlying structure, that's why I suggested using the existing Paypal plugin as the base.
You can also use the Authorize.net plugin as an example too.
