Batch translation: how does it work? I've tried selecting one or more articles, select languages, then click on "Translate All" button but it does nothing.
Joomla 4.3.3, PHP7.4, Linux, SpeedyTranslate 1.11.0.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,

This feature relies on automatic translation providers like Google Translate, Yandex and DeepL to translate multiple items at once.

So make sure that you configure one of those services in Speedy Translate configuration before starting the batch translation.

I suspect there is an incompatibility between SpeedyTranslate and Joomla 4.3.3 (cassiopeia template) or PHP7.4.
I selected translation by google, and it works: if I open an article, I can click on a language flag (on title, url or body), it appears the en-GB >> es-ES text, and clicking there I get the translation.
This is quite long to translate many articles, expecially because SpeedyTranslate ask for confirmation for each translation (I suggest to remove the confirmation request).

In Batch Translations, if I select Articles, the category, and flag one or more article than click on Translate All button, nothing happen.
If I select one or more languages, and one or more article, then click on Translate All button, nothing.
The java console in my browser do not report any issue.
I checked this with both Firefox and Chromium.
Where is the problem?
Thanks.

Hi,

The mass translations feature is currently broken in Joomla 4 which we are working on for a fix, it'd need some refactoring to be Joomla 4 compatible.

We are sorry about that.
