Experience payments, statuses, and invoice layout improvements

Hi,
I'm now going through the payment setup for our tours, and have a couple of questions/issues.
  1. The deposit payment is setup to go through Paypal. This works properly, adding 5% to the base fee, and only charging the deposit in the process. But, how do I add another payment to the customer's reservation? We require the balance of payment in cash on the day of the tour. I can't see a way of adding this payment into the system - is it possible? If not, how would you add an additional payment?
  2. In our current booking system, I have a number of statuses setup - is it possible to add these to your system? If so, how? Would it affect the Solidres Experiences booking system?
    • Enquiry (Already in Solidres as 'pending')
    • Deposit paid
    • No deposit required
    • Paid in full (Already in Solidres as 'paid')
    • Trip Advisor Bank Transfer
    • Air BnB Bank Transfer
  3. The invoice shows the date the booking was made (or the invoice was created - I'm not sure which), but it doesn't show the date of the tour booking. Can this be added in the future please.
  4. Similar, in the invoice, I would like to show the remaining balance to be paid. I can do this as an override, but it would be good to have as standard in the invoice

Of the above, 1 & 2 are important. 3 & 4 I can amend the current layouts to input by myself unless/until the feature is added.

SORRY, ONE MORE THING - when I amend the files for the invoices, where should I put them so they are not overwritten at updates?

Hi,

1. You can use our new feature call "Payment History" which can be found in your Solidres back end.

2. You can add more statuses using the "Statuses" menu in your Solidres back end.

3. The date in invoice is the invoice creation date. In the invoice we show the reservation code which is the reference source to find all other booking info. However we will consider adding the tour's start date in upcoming releases.

4. We will add it in the next release.

To avoid changes are being overwritten, please copy the invoice as your template override before editing it.

Q1 - the question is about experience payment history, not room booking. I'm still confused about this - how do you add a second payment for an experience booking? There doesn't seem to be an option in the experience reservation record, and there is no option to add a new payment in the payment history... so where would you add another payment?

For Experience, you can use the Payment History under tab Payment while editing your reservation (screenshot).
