Thumbnails not generating was created by stefannagies
Hi everyone...
I noticed that the thumbnails are not being generated when uploading with media manager...I did not find any docs related to that...

Hi,
Do you have the following folders:
/media/com_solidres/assets/images/system/thumbnails/1
/media/com_solidres/assets/images/system/thumbnails/2

Hello,
thx for your fast reply... yes, have the folders and manually creating and uploading the thumbs works... pictures are shown... but it is a drag to do this.. my guess is that my server is missing a image package... I just don't know which one...

Hi,
Those folders should be created automatically when Joomla install Solidres, but in some rare cases in some servers those folders are not created thus the thumbnails are not stored into the server.
Did you install the sample media package?

yes, I did.. and the folders are there...

Hi,
Look like my reply was not clear enough.
The thumbnails are automatically generated by Solidres and stored in two folders above. So to confirm again, you have those folders and the thumbnails are not generated, do you see the full image in /media/com_solidres/assets/images/system/ ?
