Solidres installation

Hi,
I was publishing the solidres module starting from a template that already includes, but I got a problem because there was also a not wished asset published together with the ones I wanted.
So I tried to play with some parameters... I changed the reservation asset in room type to my asset.. but no benefit.... when I tried to change it back, a error comes: 452 Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails, etc....
So now the situation is worst than the beginning...

I tried in local mode to unistall solidres and install once again....I simply followed the video tutorial but at front page comes the message: You are not authorised to view this resource.
Could someone support me?
May I give you the website address?
Further couple of questions: is the seasonal price possible to be set in the solidres package that is not for free? or am I not able to do it?
How can the room availability day per day can be changed?

Hi,

Nice week to you.

About your issue, it is a common issue with 3rd template that is out of date and not compatible with latest template version.

You should uninstall their bundled Solidres and install the Solidres downloaded from solidres.com, then make sure that you remove all out of date template's overrides for Solidres.

You should test with different template or use the default Joomla template to confirm and avoid 3rd template problems.

I uninstall and install it once again, installing it via web, so that I think I took the last version.
Now I got the same problem I have in local.

Did you disable your template override or test with default Joomla template?

hi,
sorry it is my first website.
I followed your suggest and found that to avoid the override you have to go to /template_folder/html/.
I have done it in local mode.
Here I deleted all the folders related to the solidres component.
...as well as I read that the folder "views" (that I rename for that) located in /components/com_users/ has a role on it.
Than I uninstalled solidres and I installed once again.
Result unchanged... .always same failure, exactly as in website in remote, once again shown here:
