Experience - 'discount amount' and 'payment discount' fields... difference is?

Hi,
I'm building an admin section so that I can add/deduct various costs for an experience (eg, guide budget, petrol, insurance...). This helps me to assess my profitability, and therefore whether I can reduce prices (or need to increase them...)

To ensure I get accurate figures, I need to calculate not just (total_paid - total_costs), but also any discounts and surcharges. This is pretty much complete, but I'm unsure about the following:

These are the fields in the experience reservation details, in the back end...

Can someone explain what the difference is please? 'Discount amount 'seems to relate to both of the discount and coupon options, but what does 'payment discount' relate to?

Yes, it is quite confusing, we will adjust the text in the next release to make it clear:

+ Discount amount: it is set from the Discount plugin
+ Surcharge: it is actually "Payment method surcharge"
+ Payment discount: it is actually "Payment method discount"

...so the 2x Payment Methods are to do with the Base rate adjustment only, or anything else as well?

Both Payment method surcharge / discount are from the payment method Base rate adjustment.
