How do I make images display?

Hi,

I've searched the forum and else where online but still can not find an solution to my problem. I hope someone here can help.

I installed the latest version of Solidres on my Joomla 3.2.3 installation a week or so ago but simply can not work out how to make pictures display. Screenshot attached.

Does anyone know why both sample data images or any I upload do not display in Solidres?

Any help much appreciated.

Where should the image files be located? I assumed they be located here - /htdocs/media/com_solidres/assets/images/system but they're not.
