Mail Catcher presale question

Not sure if this is the best place to ask but I'm trying to get more info on what emails can be logged by MailCatcher - is it any email sent through the site via any extension or does there need to be a specific integration added for each extension which needs tracked?

Mail Catcher catches all emails from all extensions that send email using Joomla API (including Joomla itself), it won't catch email for extensions that do not use Joomla API to send email.
