Master/slave function doesn't show in each calendar

I have an apartment with three rooms. The apartement itself are master, and each room are slaves. If I book the apartment, it shows correct occupied in the apartement calendar, but not in the rooms calendars. It works correct if I try to book a room, it says no availability. Is this supposed to be like this, or is it an option I have missed somewhere?

In Master/Slave setup, the Master is your room type, and only room type has front end availability calendar, not separated rooms, could you elaborate more, a website URL could be useful.

I can try to explain better. I have one property. In this property, I have two room types: one that is the whole apartment, and one that is a room. The whole apartment is master (with just one room), and the room type "room" has three separate rooms. If I book the whole apartment all three rooms are occupied, but it doesn't look occupied in the calendars for each room, I only see this if I try to book a room.

I have updated now, and it is a little bit better and a little bit worse. The better part is when I book the whole apartment it also show occupied in the rooms calendar. The worse part is if I book one of the separate rooms, it looks available in the 'whole apartment' calendar AND I can now also book it. Both room types should exclude each other. If I book the room type 'one room' it should not be possible to book the room type 'whole apartment' (since obviesly that room is part of whole apartment).
