Joomla user registration

Dear all,

I made a test reservation and i clicked the checkbox to create a joomla user account. After confirming the reservation i'm getting a mail the confirms my registration. But i do not receive a mail from Joomla with an activation link to activate my joomla user account. The account is created in Joomla, but is diabled and not activated. Is the procedure that the Joomla manager does this manually? Or should there be a user activation mail?

It depends on your Joomla com_users configuration > User options > New User Account Activation.
