Setting up the EXPERIENCE feedback form & style was created by Thellie
Hi,
I have 2 questions relating to feedback for Experiences - I'm just setting it up for the first time...
1. The documentation shows clearly how to create the feedback types, type values, and conditions, but it doesn't really explain about the frontend. I created a menu item (to be chosen in the feedback options), but there is no Solidres menu item re: feedback...? So how am I meant to get the customer to open the feedback form?
2. CSS - The page I want to show the feedback module is not a Solidres template page - where/how can I replicate the Solidres CSS to style it for the other template.
EDIT:
3. Where do I find the feedback email file - which folder?
Thanks

Hi,
1. There is no dedicated menu item type for Feedback, you can assign a menu item ID for it in Solidres Config > Feedback > Target Itemid
2. Feedback form automatically load all necessary CSS to render the page, including Solidres CSS files. If you want to adjust the CSS, you should put your custom CSS into your template custom.css file.
3. You can find it here: plugins/solidres/feedback/components/com_solidres/layouts/emails

Thanks, but I still have issues -
I have set a menu item on a hidden menu (I chose the type to be a separator). When the email link is clicked, the link takes me to the main page which doesn't use a Solidres template so I cannot view the feedback information.
I changed the main page template to Greenery and clicked the link again - this time the feedback list for the customer shows, but the 'Click to write feedback' is not clickable.
Problems:
1. I need the email link to go to the feedback form, but not on the main page as I cannot have a Solidres template on this page - How, please?
2. Why doesn't the 'Click to write feedback' link work? Any help would great - I can open a ticket if necessary.
Thanks

Hi,
1. You should not set the Target itemID to a separator menu, just set it to a normal existing menu item that page could be rendered easily and it is not a homepage.
2. Please raise a new support ticket and send us the feedback link so we can check it easier.

Okay, I've got it working now, thanks.
Although I wasn't setting the Target itemId (Feedback options) to the home page, I was using menu items which used the default template (I'm using Gantry 5 Hydrogen for almost all pages).
To clarify - do not use the home page menu item, nor any menu items which use the defaulted template.*
*Vieth - please correct me if I'm wrong about this.
Once I set it to a menu item which was not the defaulted template, nor the home page menu item, it worked properly.
