Change Rooms/Beds to Sites. One Proprty RV Park

Actually making a great deal of sense - in all honesty when I very first looked at Solidres it was quite apparent setting places on tours as rooms within the property would be best, knocked up a quick test & basically it functioned....adequately. Although I couldn't see any GOOD reason why not to carry on in this fashion, I put it to support & although they agreed it was perfectly viable, seemed, slightly surprised & disappointed somehow? Then the old self-doubt set in, I ummed & ahhed myself out of the decision, what do I know, complete greenhorn with no experience & even less idea, no, use it as was designed for, if not am bound to come a cropper eventually & wasted time simply don't have. During this period we had no site by the way, and I've never been much for the extra amount of work social media involves so that's minimal, I chickened out & stayed with the safe but guaranteed option. Glad I did too, isn't perfect but learned loads, site's sufficient for the stop-gap it was meant to be. V2 will be 10x better; regular tours posted in property with basic upgrades/extras too, choice of initial day rides as (free) option within Experiences (should they choose) once tour (room) booked, with the annual (Loy Krathong etc), specialist & bespoke offerings best suited to Experiences. Consequently everything available at all times, maximum amount of choice which puts us back to our original 'first-up-best-dressed' policy? I'm sure you too must struggle with the last-minute (best guess really, lol!) nature of the lunar calendar here - Loi Krathong being a prime example, was it 3-4 years ago? Full moon on the Tuesday so I posted the tour to commence weekend before in Chiang Mai, reaching Sukhothai on the event itself for a cracking celebration, dashed when a month prior it was decided to postpone until the weekend after, countrywide. 20 guests all with holidays booked with their employers, flights, kennels etc., etc...errr...sorry folks, but...?! Thank god they were regulars & most of all, bikers! The celebrations a nice reason to visit but not be all & end all, I'm sure plenty of other operators had it far worse than ourselves. The flexibility of Experiences & ability to choose/change a starting date is excellent in that regard.
Will be starting V2 very shortly, to be honest I'm in touch with a couple of video components asking if there's any possibility of shoe-horning a player into the current slideshow module? I love the site & its abilities to bits, fantastic, but 80+% of moto-tours' sites nowadays opening with an impressive part-vehicle/part-aerial (drone) perspective 2-3 minute loop, I believe in another couple of years it'll be the accepted norm & a slideshow simply won't cut it anymore.

For video I usually use AllVideo component, and I think Solidres is able to integrate with Joomla articles (and possibly modules..?) ...can't remember off the top of my head... which means you could stick a video in an article or module then pop that into one of the template sections... I think... hahaha, have a look anyway.

Also, with the new website, I'm probably not using a Solidres template - I like the versatility of Gantry 5/Hydrogen or Gantry 5/Helium framework and template.

If you go along that route (or even make an attempt at using Fabrik), and have questions, just let me know - I'm a self-learner, with not much spare time as well, so we have to stick together... I'm an old punk btw

Hi Kirk I followed their advice with the language files and it's worked flawlessly. Seems pretty much limitless so far
