Migrating from an install to another

So i have been updating our web site and in order to keep it as clean as possible, i made a clean installed and migrated my content. I am trying to do the same with Solidres but without any lack. I tried just moving the tables from one database to another but didn't seem to work for me. Do you have to suggest any other way?

I tried deleting all tables from solidres in the new install and then moving all the sr_ tables from the old one. However i get a white page in the clean site. Another problem that might cause these is that when i tried updating to 0.9.1 i get an error that the map cannot be altered.
