This is one of the most voted feature request in our forum: to store media items in separated folder for each property/room type/experience. We also rewrite the current media manager to simplify the code base and eliminate jQuery dependency entirely. The new media manager is planned for version 2.14.0.

Until now, Solidres has a good integration with Joomla user system by extending it to add our custom fields. It works well so far but user/customer must register their account via Solidres. We’ve improved it further by allow integrating user profile between Solidres and Joomla regardless of where user was registered from. The below screenshot show both Solidres customer profile and Joomla user profile edit screen, they are both synchronized and can be edited from both sides.

We’re excited to announce the latest addition to Solidres – seamless integration with Stripe Connect!

This new feature makes payment management simpler and more flexible than ever, especially for multi-property booking portals built with Solidres.

With Stripe Connect, each property owner on your platform can receive payments directly into their own Stripe account. That means no more manual fund transfers, complicated revenue splits, or bookkeeping headaches. Solidres now automates the entire flow — from customer payment to fund distribution — while keeping full transparency for both the portal owner and individual property managers.

Since Stripe payment plugin v0.8.0 (requires Solidres for Joomla v2.12.0+), we added support for Stripe Customer APIto save card info during payment. This new feature is very useful for both customers and property owners, it helps speed up the booking process, make it more convenient, especially for regular customers.

We’ve just released the new Stripe payment plugin 0.7.0 that added support for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). All Stripe subscribers are recommended to update.

After installed the v0.7.0, please edit your property > Payments > Stripe, then set Integration Type as “Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)” to activate it.

We are back to our blog to share a new exciting feature for HUB+ subscribers: SVG icons for asset/room type’s facilities. Are you still using icons made by image files or font icons? You should get rid of them and try our new SVG icons set, made exclusively for Solidres and enjoy the state of the art icons in Solidres. Below are some screenshots of the new feature which will be made available in Hub plugin 1.8.0 (requires Solidres for Joomla 2.7.0+).

Tags is one of the new features that we’ve been working on. It will be available for both properties and experiences with the Joomla com_tags integration. So what are tags’ use cases?

In Solidres, you can assign one category for your properties or experiences, it is good enough for many users, but others need an ability to assign properties and experiences to multiple categories. We can extend the current category system to support multiple category assignments, however, we think it is better to utilize Joomla’s com_tags for this purpose as it offers more flexibility and it also reduces the complexity for us to refactor the current category system.

We are working on a new feature in Complex Tariff plugin 1.3.0 which allows owner to reorder tariffs in back end using drag & drop, then the new order will be applied when showing tariffs in front end. It is helpful when you want to highlight specific tariffs to your potential guests.

Four Solidres add-ons have new releases: Hub 2.2.0, Experience 2.1.0, Feedback 2.1.0 and Rate Plan 1.1.1. The biggest change is how three of them install: Hub, Experience and Feedback now each come as one Joomla package. There is also a new Hub module, partner sign-up for new visitors, tour booking in every language and a long list of fixes. All four need Solidres 4.3.0.

We’d like to show the first preview of our upcoming Offline credit card payment plugin. This plugin is useful when you only want to collect credit card info (not process/capture it) and store it for manual processing later. This new plugin will be compatible with our upcoming 0.8.0 release.

Orient template v5.0.0 is the fourth template which has been refactored to support Joomla 5 and PHP 8+. It is now available for all active BUNDLE+ subscribers. Quickstart package is also available for download, it was built on Joomla 5.2.3 + Solidres 3.2.2.

Orient theme is now available for all WP user, this is the fourth WP theme in our WP theme family. We are glad to introduce 0.4.0 which is the latest version of our Paypal plugin, this version has a new feature which allows asset’s owner to have a new option “Payment action”, this new option has 2 values which can be chose from:

• Sale: a payment is authorized and captured simultaneously.
• Authorization: a payment is authorized first and it will be captured later.

The market is full of accommodation/restaurant booking portal Joomla template, but the majority of them are only for building ‘prototype’ websites with many ‘custom HTML’ modules, not a real dynamic and functional website because there is no real integration with a real accommodation/restaurant booking extension like Solidres and RMS.
