We’ve like to introduce Solidres for WordPress 0.8.0 and Solidres for Joomla 1.8.1 released. There are also updates to existing plugins, detailed change log can be found below:

As requested by many Solidres users, we’d like to announce our development plan to support WordPress. Please find some details below:

1. When will it be released?
Our plan is to introduce the first public release in January 2015. Please note that this is estimated and not a fixed plan.

Since our announcement in Sep 2014, we have worked very hard to develop Solidres for WordPress and now it is time for the first public release. You can download it in our Downloads section or see the demo.

The features set of Solidres for WordPress v0.1.0 BETA 1 is almost the same with Solidres for Joomla v0.7.2. We are still working to keep it up to date with Solidres for Joomla v0.8.1. This release is considered as BETA, therefore it should be used for testing purpose only. We are also working to bring commercial features to WordPress as well, please stay tuned.

We are very happy to announce the first stable release of Solidres for WordPress v0.2.0. Since the initial release v0.1.0 Beta, we’ve received a lot of feedback, bug reports and encouragement from our users and this release is the result of all hard works that we’ve committed since then.

In comparison to v0.1.0 Beta, v0.2.0 can be considered as a huge refactoring of our plugin structure to utilize WordPress API better. At this stage, Solidres for WordPress v0.2.0 has most of the features that Solidres for Joomla 0.9.4 is having, there are some missing features like backend reservation creation etc which we are working on for the next release.

We are happy to announce the availability of Solidres for WordPress v0.3.0 and Solidres for Joomla v1.1.0, change log can be found below:

Multilingual support has been added to Solidres for WordPress v0.4.0, the initial plan was to introduce this feature into Solidres for WP v0.3.0 but due to some technical issues we had to delay it a little bit and now it is finally ready for public release. In addition to that, we are happy to include L’amour into our WordPress themes family as well as new updates for Complex Tariff plugin v0.2.0, Coupons plugin v0.2.0, Extras plugin v0.2.0, Invoice plugin v0.2.0, Limit Booking v0.2.0, Room Types v0.2.0, Statistics plugin v0.2.0, User plugin v0.3.0.

The upcoming Hub/iCal/Invoice releases will integrate with Joomla 4 Task Scheduler. For website administrators, it’d make the CRON job setup and maintenance easier. For extension developers, Joomla 4 Task Scheduler provides a good foundation to build CRON functionality.

We announced our mobile app at the end of last month, now it is time for external testing. To join the mobile app testing program, please post a new support ticket and provide us either your iOS or Android account’s email address, then we will set it up for you. Please note that your subscription (SINGLE, BUNDLE, HUB, DEVELOPER) must be active in order to test the mobile app.

We’d like to say thank you to all testers who joined our mobile app testing program, we received a lot of good feedback to fine tune our mobile app further and now it is officially available in Google Play Store. Regarding Apple App Store, they required us to implement the in-app purchase API to let users buy their mobile subscription directly from the app therefore we need more time for it, in the mean time you can still use the Solidres app for iOS via Test Flight app (contact us if you want to join).

Hello August and all Solidres users, we are excited to announce that Solidres mobile app will be available soon for testing, it is one of the most interesting projects that we’ve been working so far, and we now reach the state that public testing is possible.

Solidres mobile app will be available for both iOS and Android users, beta testing will be announced soon for limited user groups before we can roll out official releases.

We rebuilt every translation from the ground up — and added seven brand-new languages. Here’s what changed and why.

Language shouldn’t stand between you and a booking. Whether a guest is reserving a room in São Paulo, Seoul or Istanbul — or you’re managing your property from an admin screen in your own language — every word of Solidres should feel like it was written for that audience. With this release, it is.

We’ve just completed the largest localization effort in Solidres’ history: a complete, ground-up overhaul of the extension’s translations. Solidres is now fully translated into 24 languages in addition to English — every screen, every message, every button, across the booking component and all of its add-ons.

• 181 files per language
• 130k+ strings translated

Thank to many useful feedback on the first Beta, we’d like to announce the availability of Solidres v0.9.0 Beta 2, Complex Tariff v0.5.0 Beta 2 and User v0.9.2 Beta 2. All subscribers can download from menu Download – Show all downloads.

There are many fixes, new features and improvements since the first Beta, there is a new tab Tariff in Solidres Options which allow you to configure how you want Solidres to handle adjoining and overlapping tariffs.

We are also making a great progress on the brand new Feedback plugin, the first Beta version of it will be available soon for testing.

We’d like to announce the first Beta release of v0.9.0 is ready for download by all subscribers (please go to menu Download – Show all downloads). We also release Beta versions for Complex Tariff v0.5.0 and User v0.9.2 as well, we’d love to hear your feedback so that we can improve it further toward the stable releases.

Please note that in this testing phrase, Solidres v0.9.0 Beta need to be installed in a new Joomla installation without previous Solidres versions installed. We will re-enable upgrading feature in the stable release of v0.9.0.

March has been an exciting month for us, so far we have released Solidres for Joomla v0.8.1 and the initial public Solidres for WordPress v0.1.0 Beta 1. At this moment we are focusing on the upcoming Solidres for Joomla v0.9.0, this release will highlight 2 long awaited features:

• Backend reservation creation for hotel staff
• Feedback plugin

Along side with them, there will be improvements and bug fixes as well as other new features. This version is targeted for April release, but the plan could be changed if it need more time to be fine-tuned. Please stay tuned for more news.
