PMS : The invoices with booking.com does not contain tax amount was created by RevPar
Hi team,
In all the sites that I manage with the PMS, the invoices that are generated with a reservation via Booking are false: VAT does not appear!
Direct or with Expedia, it works normally.
It would also be necessary to be able to regenerate all the invoices for the accounts of the establishments.
Can you consider that there is an emergency there, right?
All the accounts and invoices of Solidres users who work with Booking.com are false!
It would be good for all your customers to have this corrected urgently ...
Best regards

MyAllocator answer :
Thank you for your response. I'll be happy to clarify this situation further.
This goes both ways, myallocator doesn't collect it, and booking.com doesn't send it to us, but there's a technical reason for this behavior.
Most PMS systems allow their users to manage the taxes directly on the PMS, and for that to work correctly, it's necessary for booking.com to send the subtotal amounts only, and based on that subtotal amount the PMS's calculate the taxes automatically.
Even if booking.com starts sending the complete breakdown, that would require technical modifications in myallocator and the PMS. Our development team plans to review the price import process, but we don't have a definite answer if any improvements will be developed.
However, it's worth clarifying that this is not a problem or limitation for our customers, as most PMS systems allow their users to set up taxes on their end. Because of that, I kindly recommend reaching out to Solidres and request instructions on how to set up the taxes on their system.
If this is not a problem for reservations coming from other channels, it's possible that your PMS tax settings for booking.com need to be adjusted.
Do you find it normal that Solidres is invoices with false VAT? Do you find it normal that the accounts of your establishments are false, because Solidres cannot calculate a VAT on a booking.com reservation?
