[Resolved] J4 Error in Mediamanager when uploading jpg file was created by BGottfried
Free Solidres, latest version, PHP 7:4: Error in Mediamanager - when I try to upload a .jpg, an error message comes up: This file type is not supported.
Pls help

Hi,

We tested with Joomla 4.0.2 but could not replicate this issue.

Please go to Joomla Media Component Config > Media > Allowed Extensions, make sure jpg extension is there and try again.

I just ran into this problem as well and found this post. Turns out it was the MIME Type that was missing "jpg" for some reason.
