[Resolved] Problem with special characters used by Czech language was created by mcLoad
I cannot insert and save some special characters that are used in the Czech language.
To replicate this issue: login to administration, go to Components -> Solidres -> Properties
Create property and insert this to Address 1 line - "Kovářova 214" or try to insert this to City line - "Žďár nad Sázavou"
It ends with this error message: "Save failed with the following error: Incorrect string value: '\xC5\x99ova ...' for column 'address_1' at row 1"
also same problem is in Currencies
Create new Currency with this setting - Name: CZK , Code: CZK , Symbol: Kč
It ends with this error message: "Save failed with the following error: Incorrect string value: '\xC4\x8D' for column 'sign' at row 1"
Can you help me fix this?

Hi,
This is not a Solidres issue, you should check your database and make sure Solidres tables are using Unicode encoding, if not you should fix it. You can use an extension called Admin Tools which can change tables collation.
