Single day booking error: Invalid. Check out date must be after check in date.

I have set up my system so that a client can reserve an room for a day only. In other words they check in and out on the same day. If you search for the room availability from the asset page there is no problem with the search result or booking. If you search from the hub search page for say from 10 January to 10 January the following error is returned:
Invalid. Check out date must be after check in date.

How can I avoid this error?
