availability not working

Can you help?

I am testing solidres on the gavick pro gk hotel joomla template - i have only the basic solidres component that came as part of this.

my issue is that i have booked a room that is stipulated in room asset type to just be a one off room (there are no other versions of this room as it's a luxury suite). I went through the process of pay later and confirmed the booking (as a normal customer would do)

then... on the front end i again tried to book this room for the same date - i was allowed. why? it is a one off room remember... even the calendar does not show this marked as unavailable. am i doing something wrong? surely this should be available on the basic solidres version?
