Limit booking - books out day before when limit booking is only one day

I don't know if i am being stupid but I am having a problem with front end availability.
I have many limit bookings from 10+ assets/50 rooms. Full hub.

When I limit book only 1 day e.g 21 august in limit booking. (done in back end statistics) I cannot book 20 Aug in front end. Strange - it does NOT happen when more than one day, e.g 21, 22, 23 etc is booked out with limit booking.

I have checked min days in custom tariff, I have checked min and max days in main settings. I am well practiced in the Hub, but like I said maybe just being stupid.
