Workin with reservation statuses

Hi,
I've red your reservation statuses documentation and I need some explanation:
1-When a guest books for my rooms but he has not completed payment yet the status is pendind and the rooms are not officially occupied. If the guest uses the off line payment (or bank wire) I need that the room has to be booked on the calendar because until i manage the payment the room is free and another guest can book it with an immediate paypal payment.
What is the solution to have the calendar blocked and the booking status unpaid both when a guest chose the offline payment or a bank wire?
2-what are the automatic update of the reservation statuses? I suppose the paypal payment and other similar are. But what about Checked-in and Checked-out? Are they both automatic and manual ?

1. Reservation status and payment status are independent. In your case with offline payment, you can set the reservation status to "Confirmed" while leaving the payment status to "Unpaid".

2. Reservation statuses and payment statuses are updated automatically for online payment methods like PayPal, Stripe. For checked-in and checked-out, they need to be set manually by the staffs.
