Stange calculation of Paypal surcharge

Hi,
I set a surcharge of 2 % with Paypal payment.
I set the deposit amount to 35%
I need that the guest pays with Paypal only the deposit amount.
Just as Solidres is now, at the end of the booking the guest is redirected to Paypal and the amount that Paypal ask is equal to the deposit amout (35%). That is correct for me!
But I found something wrong on the surcharge of 2% for the Paypal payment.
As far as my concern the surcharge should be calculated with 2% of deposit amount, that it is the sum tha the guest is paying.
But Solidres charges the guest with a 2% calcutated on the full amount of the booking!
Why?
Is there a way to calculate the surcharge only on the deposit amount?

I found a matematic solution to this issue.
If the deposit is 35% and the surcharge of the 2% should be calculated only on the deposit,
On Solidres, I can set the Paypal surcharge of the 0,7% that is calculated on the full amount of the booking.
By this way I have the surcharge amount I want.
But I suggest you to find a real solution to this problem for the next release.

I'm sorry, but Solidres system does not accept number small than 1 or with decimal on "Base rate adjustment value".
So, my matematic solution does not work!

By design, the payment method surcharge are applied on the total booking cost, not deposit amount. It is quite a standard, are there other users who need to apply payment method surcharge on deposit amount? Please let us know.

if you look at Airbnb, Tripadvisor, Wimdu and all the other best vacation rental sites you can see that the guest pay in advance only the deposit amount. The rest will payed at the checkin. Especially with the vacation rentals, usually, at the check-in the guest pay cash or with Bank Cheque because it is almost impossible have a POS terminal in the vacation rental.
So I think it is obvious that with a vacation rental the surcharge have to apply to deposit amount.
I repeat, please, look at Airbnb and the other.
