How to set margin in module roomtypes?

I want to create a roomtype module with borders outside the items. That's not a problem. But getting margins between those borders really is.

Screen 1 is the circle slider with borders - but no margins. That's the problem.
Screen 2 is the circle slider with the margins sort of added in the gimp (the lime color).
Screen 3 is the carousel as it looks in a Bootstrap 4 template. The images are all shown together not as a carousel.
