At first tried the search option in the forums but could not really find a clear answer. I wanted try out this program to simply show an availability calendar. I've manually set up a category, property, & room type but when clicking the calendar option it stays blank.

Is the calendar option not part of the free version? I see the notification about a statistics plugin. But I don't need statistics just a way to show the availability.


Looking for a tool that;

shows a calendar on front end where the visitor can see availability and can pick dates too make a reservation

have the backend also show the calendar or easy way to see availability for the owner and the ability to manually enter bookings/close dates

In Solidres, room type availability is controlled in rate plan level, therefore to book you need to use the rate plan date picker.

In the Core version, the availability calendar is for showing calendar with unavailable dates, it is not for booking.

In backend, you'd need the Statistics plugin as it will provide you with a calendar that can be used for booking, closing dates.
