Open Multivendor Site; all registered users as partners.

Hello;
I was reading about the hub plugin, i would like to know this.
If i create an open multi vendor site, and i want by default, all my registered user has the chance to create his/her own assets, i have to change the Solidres permissions for registered users to create, edit, edit own, etc, as described in www.solidres.com/documentation/joomla-do...ation-for-hub-plugin ?
In this url, partners groups it's recommended "Editor" but I want this done by default, with all registered users.
How can I do this?

You can set " New User Registration Group" in Joomla com_user configuration to "Editor".

Whats the difference between set " New User Registration Group" in Joomla com_user configuration to "Editor"; and give those permissions to Registered Users Group?
