FlexSearch performance

I have a Joomla 4 site that uses Solidres and contains a single category, 17 properties, and only 8 reservations. My issue is that when FlexSearch is enabled, the search becomes very slow. On the original, somewhat slow server, it takes almost 20 seconds to perform a simple check-in/check-out search. Without FlexSearch, it takes about 2 seconds.

I moved the site to a much faster server for testing, where the search with FlexSearch takes 3-4 seconds, and around 0.5 seconds without it.

Is there any way to improve the performance?

Flex Search is designed to search to alternatives available dates therefore the performance depends on the settings:

+ Search threshold
+ LOS threshold

The bigger the value, the slower the search, it is the trade-off when you want to offer the guest the alternatives available dates when their selected dates are unavailable.
