Best Folder Security Practices in Solidres was created by qusai
Dear All
I am not able to set the right security settings for the Whole Joomla website including the Solidres extension.
Only when I put everything at 0777, things go smooth. But this is very dangerous.
Any other combination will keep making troubles here or there.
Can someone, kindly, recommend detailed setting of all folders, especially the ones that need Write privileges such as media and tmp

Hi,
You should never use 777 as your file/folder permission.
If your server requires 777 to be functional, then your server configuration is having serious problem and you should stay away from it.
For Solidres and Joomla, please follow this tutorial:
