guest information and other issues

Hi there

I am brand new to Solidres, I am sure it will do everything I want but I am having some difficulties in customizing to to my needs. I have a few questions as follows...

How do I...

1. remove the 'smoking options' from the bookings page and confirmation email ?


2. disable some of the fields in the 'Guest Information' page?
currently it shows
Title
First name *
Middlename (I want to remove this)
Last name
Email
Landline number
Mobile phone
Company
Address 1
Address 2
VAT number (I want to remove this)
City *
Zip/Postal code
Country *
County (I want to remove this)
Note

3. How do I make the guest information form one column instead of two?

4. on the guest information page, when the user clicks the '?' button next to "Bankwire" or "PayPal" button the text disappears


5.. on confirmation page how do I remove the text " (exclude taxes)" and the line "Total room tax"?


6. how do I remove 'child' and 'children' from the whole thing (as we do not accept children)?

Hi,

1. You can disable it in your room type - tab Publishing.

2. You can install Custom Fields, then you can manage them in Solidres backend - Custom Fields

3. You can edit the Guest form layout file to change it to 01 column:

/components/com_solidres/layouts/asset/guestform_style3.php

Or if you use Custom Field plugin:

/plugins/solidres/customfield/components/com_solidres/layouts/asset/guestform_style3.php

4. Please makes sure that your template support either Bootstrap 2 or Bootstrap 3, and you select the right Bootstrap in Solidres Options to avoid these CSS issues.

5. There is an option called "Price includes tax" in your asset - tab Publishing which you can enable it.

6. You can disable child option in your room type - tab Publishing.

Just point 4. that is still not right. I have it set to bootstrap 3 (which matches my site).
