[solved] booking across periods has always the same price was created by fresco
Hi, I need to set prices according to different periods, eg
from 7/04 to 31/05: € 85
from 1/06 to 30/06: € 90
from 1/07 to 31/07: €100
from 1/08 to 31/08: €120
and so on...
I tried setting them (with complex tariffs plugin) on room type, but I have 10 periods to show, so on booking page I have two issues:
1 since the visitor is supposed to being presented with the shortest path to booking, why should I show him a page to scroll till the end before (maybe) finding what he looks for? awesomescreenshot.com/0f94qdd728
2 if he wants to book a period among two of them, the price gets messed up
So I switched to using discounted prices, this at least allows users to just select arrival and departure and be presented with tariffs.
If such a layout/procedure could be setup with complex tariffs please let me know how.
Anyway, there's the same problem:
if the user wants to book a period among two of them, the price gets messed up.
It seems timed prices work only within only one discount period, but what happens if I want to book 2 weeks?
I am using Joomla 341 and solidres 081, with standard joomla template.
Besides, there's a problem with slideshow after I click on a map, but it's another problem.
I've created a user for you and sent a ticket
Thanks and best regards

Hi,
You can go to Solidres Options page, then select No for option "Show front end tariff", then you can publish mod_sr_checkavailability so that guest can use it to check without having to select different tariffs.
We checked your website and you disabled complex tariff, please re-enable and provide more info like your check in and check out dates so that we can try to replicate this issue in order to assist you faster.

Yes! Now it works, thanks!
I've edited my complex tariffs and entered values for both fields "Min nights" and "Max nights", which I had previously just left empty...

Hi', as you suggested above, I've published a mod_sr_checkavailability referring to the first accomodation I had.
Now that I've added a new accomodation, a new mod_sr_checkavailability is published on its page, referring to its menu itemid.
The problem is that every time I check for a date and hit search, it leads me to the first accomodation...
Do you know how should I do to lead to the 2nd accomodation?
