different tariffs problem

i got this problem: I create a complex tariff for March, and a different one for April. As long as the booking is within the same period, no problem. But a booking from 30 March - 2 April is a problem: the client has to book 30-31 march first and 01-02 April after that. That's not very good. How do I solve this?

What I am looking for is (30-31 March = 50) + (1-2 April = 60) total = 110.
Making it highest rate 60 + 60 will make the owner happy, but not the client
And making it the lowest rate 50 + 50 gives happy clients and an angry owner.
50 + 100 makes everybody happy. Setting rates highest or lowest doesn't work so far.
