Installation & packaging

• Core package: the Coupons and Room Types modules now ship with Solidres and update with it. Separate downloads are no longer needed.
• Add-on packages: Hub, Experience and Feedback each now ship as one Joomla package that installs, updates and uninstalls as a unit. Installing a package over an existing site takes over the extensions already there, with nothing to migrate.
  • Hub 2.2.0: the Hub plugin, its scheduled task plugin, the PayPal and mobilPay subscription gateways and eight site modules.
  • Experience 2.1.0: the Experience plugin, its invoice plugin, four built-in payment gateways and eight site modules.
  • Feedback 2.1.0: the Feedback plugin and the Feedback module.

Booking & payments

• Booking form: in the admin and Hub booking forms, every selected room must have a rate plan, so a room can no longer be booked at zero price.
• Cancelled payments: guests returning from a cancelled payment see the configured message with placeholders such as [CUSTOMER_FIRSTNAME] and [CODE] filled in. Payment gateways receive the cancel/return step again.
• Experience: the confirmation page shows the success message set for the chosen payment method, not always the default text.
• Currency: the currency switcher shows the currency prices are actually in, on first and return visits.
• Booking summary: stays hidden until the guest has picked dates, keeps check-in and check-out apart, and no longer breaks a date across lines on phones. It no longer errors when the cart is empty.

Date picker

• The apartment page now uses the modern range picker.
• The booking and availability calendars use Solidres colours again instead of the picker's default palette.
• The mobile date sheet's title and buttons are translated in all languages.

SEO & accessibility

• One address per property: property and apartment pages have one URL and a correct canonical link, wherever they are linked from. Apartment pages get their own title, description and social tags. Property pages no longer show the search page's filter and search modules.
• Hub: apartment search results now open the right property.
• Page headings: search results, tracking, the guest area and other pages that had no heading now show the menu item's Page Heading as an H1 when "Show Page Heading" is on, and the booking confirmation opens with an H1. Every Solidres page uses the menu item's meta description and robots settings.
• Property and room type pages: headings follow a logical order, text has better contrast, and form controls and social links have accessible names. Room type pages get a meta description from their text.
• Modules: slider images have alt text, headings use the correct levels, search fields are labelled, and each "Read more" link names its item.

Maps & security

• Map popups: quotes or tags in property details can no longer break a map or inject markup. Popups now show the full address and contact details, and OpenStreetMap maps show their attribution.
• Map view: unpublished and access-restricted properties are no longer shown.

Languages & user accounts

• Consistent labels: "Check-in", "Check-out" and "Search" now read the same in every module and page.
• Module settings: the Feedback and Splide module settings are translated.
• User forms: country and state are drop-down lists on Joomla's registration, profile and admin user forms.
• Script error: fixed "Solidres is not defined" on user forms and on some Hub and Experience pages.

Dark mode

• The Experience, Feedback, Hub subscription, Dashboard and Front Desk screens, the legacy date picker and the reservation status colours are now readable in dark mode.

Before you upgrade

• Template overrides: the map view and apartment map layouts have changed, and the System page flags overrides that need updating. Property page headings moved from H4/H5 to H2/H3, so check any custom CSS that targets them.
• Wording: date labels such as "Arrival Date" now read "Check-in". To keep the old wording, use a language override.
