Special Offers: coupon module to automatically load latest items

I have just started using solidres and was previously using jomres so am still finding my way round the system, but running Solidres as a portal it would be nice if the module for the special offers was automated to show the latest offers rather than using a custom module.

In our template demos, we are using Coupon Module for showing "Special offers". This module automatically shows all coupon items that were configured from back end, it does not automatically load the latest coupons because we want to give the control to administrator to specify which coupons to be showed in front end.
