An error has occurred. 500 Layout default not fou

hi, i tried to test out the free version before i make a purchase... but after installing the "Solidres_Full_Package_v0.5.1" i get the error "An error has occurred. 500 Layout default not found" when i click on the componants> solidres..
please let me know how to fix it and test out the free version on my page....

i updated joomla 3.1 to 3.15 just now and it fixed the above problem....!!
but have another prob...
when i click on the " install sample data" i get a long error message "1062 Duplicate entry '1' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=INSERT INTO `k3gkb_sr_categories` (`id`, `parent_id`, `as..................... "

how can i fix this now??

i'm using Joomla! 3.6.0 Stable and Resort template, so whenever i update solidres to the latest 1.4.0 i go an error (Layout default_ not found. )on the reservation page of the front end.
