Room/apartment setup

Dear reader,

I'm trying to setup three different properties with each one room type.
first property has 12 identical apartements. Each apartment can have 2 adults and one small child.
second property has 4 identical apartments. Each apartment can have 6 adults and/or 6 children. ie 6 persons.
third apartment is just for two adults. No problem with that one.

For the second property i have tried all settings for maximum adults and children in property and room type. But i cannot seem to get it right. For some reason solidres allows 6 adults and 6 children in a single 6 person apartement. I'm probably still setting the wrong values somewhere.

Second issue is the book online module only checks the property set as "default". I want it to search all three properties.
Can someone help me out a little bit?

For the second property, please use our Complex Tariff plugin to set the min/max occupancy for 6 persons.

To check availability for multiple properties, please use Advanced Search module instead of Check Availability module.

I tried that. But I can still add 6 adults and 6 children to one single sixpersons apartment.

Please make sure that you are using rate plan with the following conditions:

1. Type = Per person per stay

2. Occupancy restriction type = Rate plan scope

I cannot use that. A guest rents the whole apartment for a price per night. It does not matter if they arrive with one adult or 6 adults. I'm using the rate per room per stay. I just want a guest to be unable to put 6 adults and 6 children in an apartment. If they select 4 adults, the pull down for children should not go further then two.

I tested what you told me and then indead the pulldown menu gets restricted. But the tariff system wil be far to complex for just an apartment that has a price per apartment.

If i use the room per stay. And restrict the rate to 6 persons max. Than the main search in frontend does not show availibility when I select 12 persons (maybe the amout of guests can be disabled in main search?). If i search at room level(n guest amount asked) i'm able to select how many rooms, and the room pull downs will be restricted like i want them to be. I added some screens.
