Outgoing Email Languages was created by joomleb
Hi guys,
(last Joomla 4 + Solidres 2.12.3) as far as I now the Outgoing Email Languages are managed through the email templates .../components/com_solidres/layouts/emails/ by using languages keys that we can translate into languages files...

1 - What about the content ? I mean, for example, we enter the "Options > Feedback > Owner notification email" content in the Joomla default frontend language, but How to translate it in the others frontend languages ?
1B - Do we have to use the languages {lang URL_Language_Code} translated content {/lang} tags and enter it in the same fields ? Should they run run on default Joomla or Falang installation is a must ?
1C - What changes if we are going to use Falang ?
1D - What changes if we are going to use Speedy Translate ?

2 - Solidres sends out Emails in the language by following the:
- A - Joomla User > Basic Settings > Frontend Language setting
--- B - (if A is not set) Joomla Extensions > Language(s) > Installed > Default setting
Please, Can you confirm it ?

Hi,

1. The Feedback's Owner notification email does not support multilingual yet, we will consider it for future releases.

2. Solidres send the email to guest based on the language that customer chose when making reservation. For example if guest made reservation in Italian, then the outgoing emails will be in Italian.

Hi guys,

1 - Thanks. I'll add it into requests when the J4 transition will be completed

2 - "...based on the language that customer chose when making reservation..." = Please, exactly by following which configuration ?
The Joomla language module selector ? / The Falang module language selector ? Maybe, Is it possible to follow the SEF Translate module selector ?
I doubt that this does not cover our case, because:
A - we are forcing registration and login to make reservations
B - we are still managing the frontend Languages with automatic translations ( SEF Translate )
C - we are managing all the system outgoing emails languages by following the standard workflow
--> Joomla User > Basic Settings > Frontend Language setting
----> (if A is not set) Joomla Extensions > Language(s) > Installed > Default setting

Hi,

The language must be set in a standard way, using a real translation process (either Speedy Translate, Joomla Language Association and Falang). All other ways are considered as non-standard like your extension and it won't be supported.
