Hi,
We refactored media manager in Experience v1.3.0 to be compatible with Hub plugin which requires better permissions control and security.
You can change the default directory by editing the code, we'd suggest you to start from this file:
/plugins/solidres/experience/administrator/components/com_solidres/controllers/expmedia.php
Please note that it is not the only file to be edited, but it is a good starting point for you if you want to make your own modification.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. To test how it would work I just changed the images directory path in expmedia.php, I cleaned browser cache, renewed the page but nothing changed. It would be really comfortable being able to set your desired path for images in the backend. Maybe you can consider this for the next release.
